Last updated: Effective date:
CrawlerData (crawlerdata.com) is operated by Ecoprice Ltd, a company registered in Israel.
1. Scope
1.1 This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using CrawlerData, which is operated by Ecoprice Ltd ("we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the Service, including through your API keys. Capitalized words have the meanings given in the Terms.
1.2 The examples below are not a complete list. We may treat any use that is similar in purpose or effect to a prohibited use as a breach of this AUP.
2. Your responsibility
2.1 You may use the Service only for lawful, legitimate business purposes.
2.2 You are responsible for making sure that your Queries, and the way you store, use, combine, publish or share Results, comply with all laws that apply to you, including data protection and privacy, consumer protection, competition, advertising and intellectual property laws.
2.3 You are also responsible for identifying and meeting any obligations you owe to third parties in connection with your use of the data, and for respecting the rights of others in it.
2.4 If you are not sure whether a use is allowed, ask us at contact@crawlerdata.com before you start.
3. Public data only
3.1 The Service retrieves publicly available search results. You must not use it, or try to use it, to:
- access content that requires a login, account or password, or is behind a paywall;
- obtain any data that is not publicly available; or
- get around any access control, paywall or technical measure that protects non-public content.
4. Protecting people
4.1 You must not use the Service or Results to:
- collect or process personal data without a lawful basis, or in breach of data protection law;
- build profiles of, track, monitor or carry out surveillance of individuals;
- stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate or bully anyone, or publish anyone's private information (doxxing);
- target special categories of personal data (such as health, ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation or political opinions) or data about children;
- make or support decisions about individuals' eligibility for housing, credit, employment, insurance or similar opportunities, or discriminate against anyone unlawfully; or
- build people-search or background-check databases.
5. Fraud, spam and manipulation
5.1 You must not use the Service or Results for, or in support of:
- fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation or any deceptive practice;
- spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
- distributing malware or otherwise harming any system or network;
- click fraud, ad fraud or generating fake clicks, impressions or other traffic;
- manipulating search engine rankings, results or autocomplete suggestions by deceptive or artificial means, including fake engagement and link schemes; or
- creating, buying or manipulating reviews or ratings.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 Results may contain images, text, trademarks and other content owned by others. You must not use the Service or Results to infringe copyright, trademark, database or other intellectual property rights. You must have the rights you need for the way you use that content, for example before republishing product images or descriptions.
6.2 You must not misrepresent where data came from, or remove copyright notices or attribution that appear in Results.
7. Using the Service fairly
7.1 You must not:
- exceed or try to get around rate limits, credit metering, usage limits or other technical restrictions;
- run load tests, stress tests, penetration tests or vulnerability scans against the Service without our written permission;
- probe, scan or try to identify, map or fingerprint our infrastructure, suppliers or network;

- abuse free trials, for example by opening several accounts to obtain more trial credits; or
- share, publish, sell or lend your API keys or login details to anyone outside your organization.
8. Resale and competing services
8.1 Allowed. You may build your own products, services, analyses and insights using Results, and offer them to your customers, as long as they add value beyond simply passing on the Results and comply with this AUP.
8.2 Not allowed without our written agreement. You must not:
- resell, sublicense or provide raw access to the Service or its API to third parties;
- offer the Service under your own brand (white-labeling) or act as a proxy that passes Queries and Results through with little or no change; or

9. Sanctions and export control
9.1 You must comply with all applicable sanctions and export control laws. The Service may not be used by or for the benefit of any person located, organized or ordinarily resident in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or any person on, or owned or controlled by anyone on, a sanctions or restricted-party list of the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom or Israel.
10. Monitoring and enforcement
10.1 Monitoring. We may monitor use of the Service, including request metadata and the content of Queries, to detect abuse, protect security and enforce this AUP.
10.2 Blocking. We may refuse, block or filter any Query, keyword, target or category of request at any time, in our discretion.
10.3 Action we may take. If we believe you have breached this AUP, or that your use creates a legal, security or reputational risk, we may, with or without notice and without liability to you:
- ask you for information about your use, or verification as described in the Terms;
- warn you, or require you to change or stop the use;
- revoke API keys, limit your use, or suspend your account immediately; and
- close your account, in which case unused credits are forfeited as set out in the Terms.
10.4 Authorities. We may report suspected unlawful activity to the relevant authorities and cooperate with law enforcement and regulators, including by disclosing information about the account involved, where the law allows.
10.5 You are responsible for all use of the Service through your account and API keys, and for any breach of this AUP by your users.
11. Reporting abuse
11.1 If you believe someone is using CrawlerData in breach of this AUP, or that your rights are being infringed through the Service, email contact@crawlerdata.com with "Abuse report" in the subject. Please include as much detail as you can, such as dates, the content concerned and why you believe it is abusive. We review every report and may act without telling the reporting person the outcome.
12. Changes to this policy
12.1 We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified as described in section 17 of the Terms. See also our Privacy Policy and pricing.
