Introducing CrawlerData: Google Shopping and SERP data with simple credit pricing
CrawlerData is a Google Shopping and Google Search data API. Every seller in one product request, real destination links, and prepaid credit packs.

CrawlerData is an API for structured data from Google Shopping and Google Search. You send a request, we collect the results page and return it as JSON. Today it covers eight Google endpoints. Seven of them cost 1 credit per request; the Sellers endpoint costs 1 credit per 10 sellers returned.
This post explains why we built it, what the API does, how the pricing works, and the few decisions we made that are different from most data APIs.
Why we built it
We built CrawlerData’s crawler because we needed Google Shopping and search data we could rely on in production. It runs our own price-tracking workloads every day, so accuracy problems get noticed and fixed fast. The public API is new, but the crawler behind it is not. A few practices come from that work: failed requests are reported as failed and not charged rather than returned half-empty, sellers are sorted by total price, prices are what Google shows at request time, and organic results carry their real destination links.
What you can collect
There are eight endpoints, split between shopping and search:
- Google Shopping API: search Google Shopping and get products with price, merchant, rating and a product ID.
- Google Shopping Sellers API: every seller offering a product, sorted by total price.
- Google Shopping Product API: title, brand, description, images, rating and specs for a product.
- Google Search API: organic results, ads, AI Overview, People Also Ask, the local pack, top stories and more, as a desktop or a mobile searcher sees them.
- Google Images, Google News, Google Local and Google Autocomplete.
Each endpoint takes a country and a language, so you can see results the way a shopper or searcher in that market sees them.
Every seller in one product request
Comparing prices across merchants is the most common reason people want Google Shopping data. Getting the full seller list is often the awkward part: many APIs return a first page of offers and need more calls, pages or tokens for the rest.
The Sellers endpoint returns all sellers for a product in a single request, sorted by total price, with merchant, price, shipping, total price and availability for each. There is no pagination and no follow-up request. It costs 1 credit per 10 sellers returned, rounded up, with a minimum of 1 credit: a product with 8 sellers costs 1 credit, one with 22 sellers costs 3, and a product that is not found or has no sellers costs 1.

"endpoint": "google-shopping-product",

You can get the product_id from a Google Shopping search result, or from the gpcid in a Google Shopping product URL.
Real destination links
Links on Google results pages often go through Google redirects. For organic web results, CrawlerData resolves those to the destination site, so the URL you store is the page the result points to. If you are tracking rankings or building a dataset of pages, that saves a step, and an extra request, for every row.
Live or async, same price
You choose a queue per request:
| Queue | How you get the result | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Live | In the same HTTP response | Interactive tools, one-off lookups |
| Fast | Poll the job, or receive a webhook | Pipelines that need results soon |
| Regular | Poll the job, or receive a webhook | Large batches that are not urgent |
The queue changes how the result is delivered, not what it costs. All three charge the same credits for the same request.
How pricing works
You buy credits in packs. There is no subscription and no monthly minimum. A request costs 1 credit on every endpoint except the Sellers endpoint, which costs 1 credit per 10 sellers returned (rounded up, minimum 1).
| Pack | Price | Credits | Per 1,000 credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $50 | 50,000 | $1.00 |
| Standard | $375 | 500,000 | $0.75 |
| Scale | $1,250 | 2,500,000 | $0.50 |
| Ultimate | $3,750 | 12,500,000 | $0.30 |
A few rules keep this predictable:
- Failed requests are not charged. You pay for requests that complete and deliver a result. If a request fails on our side, the credit is returned.
- Credits are valid for 6 months from the date you buy them. When you use credits, the ones that expire soonest are used first.
- Prices exclude sales tax and VAT, which are added at checkout where they apply.
The pricing page has a calculator if you want to estimate the cost of a specific volume.
Try it with 50 free credits
Sign up with a work email address and verify it, and your account gets 50 free credits, valid for 30 days. That is enough to call each endpoint a few times with your own queries and check the output against what you need. Webmail and disposable addresses do not qualify for the trial.
The full parameter reference and example responses for every endpoint are in the docs in your dashboard. If something is missing or does not behave the way you expect, email us at contact@crawlerdata.com. We read everything.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does a request cost?
- Every endpoint costs 1 credit per request, except the Google Shopping Sellers endpoint, which costs 1 credit per 10 sellers returned, rounded up, with a minimum of 1 (22 sellers = 3 credits). Credit packs work out to $1.00 per 1,000 credits on the Starter pack, down to $0.30 per 1,000 on the Ultimate pack.
- Am I charged for failed requests?
- No. A request is charged only when it completes and a result is delivered. If a request fails, the credit reserved for it is returned.
- Do credits expire?
- Purchased credits are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Free trial credits are valid for 30 days.
- How do I get the free credits?
- Sign up with a work email address and verify it. New accounts get 50 free credits. Webmail and disposable addresses do not qualify.
