Google Shopping API Pricing Compared: Cost per 1,000 Searches and per Product with All Sellers (2026)
What Google Shopping APIs cost per 1,000 searches and per product with all sellers, plus failed-request and expiry rules. Prices as of Oct 2026.

A Google Shopping API costs anywhere from about $0.27 to $25 per 1,000 searches at list price as of October 2026. But per-1,000 search pricing is the wrong number for most buyers. If you track prices, what you really pay for is one product with all of its sellers, and that cost depends on how each provider paginates and bills sellers.
This post compares both numbers for every provider whose public pricing and docs let us work them out. It also covers the billing rules that change the real total: failed requests, credit expiry and minimum spend.
Why per-1,000 pricing misleads for Google Shopping
Three things make a headline “per 1,000 requests” price a poor guide for Google Shopping:
- Credit multipliers. Many APIs sell credits, not requests, and a Google Shopping call can cost several credits. Scrapingdog’s Google Shopping endpoint costs 10 credits per successful request, and its
/google_productcall costs 5. - Seller pagination. On Google, a product’s offers are a separate page from the search results. Most APIs need a second call to get them, and some return the sellers a few at a time. A product with 30 sellers can take one call or four or more, depending on the provider.
- Rendering and billing rules. Oxylabs’ Shopping search needs
render: "html"to return product tokens, which likely moves it to the pricier JavaScript rate. Some providers also bill certain error responses, and unused credits expire on very different schedules.
So we look at four numbers per provider, not one.
Method and assumptions
Everything below comes from each provider’s public pricing and documentation pages, checked on 2026-10-12. We did not run a live benchmark for this post, so there are no speed or success-rate figures here.
What we count:
- Entry price per 1,000 Shopping searches. The cheapest paid plan or pack, divided down to 1,000 requests and multiplied by the credit cost of a Shopping search.
- Volume price per 1,000. The same calculation at the largest public tier.
- Cost to get all sellers for one product. We assume a product with about 30 sellers and that you already have its product ID or token. We count only calls that the docs say are needed, using documented page sizes.
- Failed-request billing, credit expiry and minimum spend, from each provider’s billing pages.
Rules we followed:
- Figures marked derived are our own arithmetic from published plans. They are not prices the provider states.
- Where a provider’s pages don’t say something (for example, how many credits a sellers call costs), we write not stated instead of guessing.
- All prices are USD, excluding tax, at list price. Annual discounts and negotiated rates are ignored.
- A 30-day month is used in the worked examples.
Cost per 1,000 Google Shopping searches
This is the price of the search step: a query in, a list of products out. All prices are as of October 2026.
| Provider | Unit | Entry per 1,000 | Largest public tier per 1,000 | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CrawlerData | 1 credit per request | $1.00 (Starter pack) | $0.30 (Ultimate pack) | Pricing |
| Scrapingdog | 10 credits per search | $2.00 (Lite, derived) | ~$0.27 (Nova Pro, derived) | Pricing |
| SerpApi | 1 search per request | $25.00 (Starter) | ~$1.96 (Cloud 54M, derived) | Pricing |
| SearchApi | 1 search per request | $4.00 (Developer) | $1.00 (Octo 5M) | Pricing |
| ValueSERP | Searches (Shopping weight not stated) | $2.00 derived ($1.60 stated) | $0.50 | Pricing |
| Oxylabs | Per result, JS rate (render required) | $1.35 (derived rate) | $0.90 (derived rate) | Pricing |
| DataForSEO | Per block of 40 products | $1.00 Standard / $2.00 Priority | Same (pay as you go) | Pricing |
| Zenserp | Searches (Shopping from the Small plan) | $2.00 (derived) | $0.90 (derived) | Pricing |
| Bright Data | Per successful SERP request (udm=28) |
$1.50 (pay as you go) | $1.30 (Scale overage) | Pricing |
| Apify actors | Per 1,000 results, not searches | $2.00–$4.40 | Varies by actor | Pricing |
Notes on the table:
- ValueSERP: its first tier states $1.60 per 1,000, but $50 for 25,000 searches works out to $2.00. Whether a Shopping request costs one search is not stated, so treat this row as an assumption.
- Oxylabs: both Shopping steps need rendering, so we assume the Google JS rate. A separate Shopping rate is not stated, and Oxylabs bills per result.
- DataForSEO: Merchant API tasks are asynchronous (task POST, then GET). The Merchant docs list the Standard method only, with no Live mode. One block of 40 products per search is assumed.
- Serper has a Shopping endpoint, but its credit cost is not stated on its pricing section, so we left it out. Its general pack prices are identical to ours: see the note further down.
- ScraperAPI’s credit page says Google domains cost 25 credits. Whether its structured Shopping endpoint uses that weight is not stated, so we did not compute a price.
On search alone, the cheapest list prices in this table at volume are Scrapingdog’s largest plan and CrawlerData’s Ultimate pack. At entry level, CrawlerData and DataForSEO Standard are the lowest.
Cost per product with all sellers
This is where providers really differ. Each one documents a different flow for getting the offers on a product page.
CrawlerData: one request
The Google Shopping Sellers API returns every seller for a product in one request, sorted by total price, with a sellers_count field. There is no pagination and no follow-up call. It costs 1 credit per 10 sellers returned, rounded up, with a minimum of 1: a product with 8 sellers is 1 credit, 22 sellers is 3 credits and 40 sellers is 4 credits. For 30 sellers that is 3 credits: 3 × $0.001 = $0.003 per product on the Starter pack and 3 × $0.0003 = $0.0009 on the Ultimate pack.
DataForSEO: per block of 10 sellers
The Sellers task returns the top 10 sellers by default, and depth goes up to 200. The docs say a depth above 10 “may result in additional charges”, and get_shops_on_google=true doubles the cost.
Its pricing page lists $0.001 (Standard) and $0.002 (Priority), and its billing note says Sellers is billed per block of 10 sellers. We found the price table and the note hard to reconcile, so here are both readings for 30 sellers:
- Per block of 10 (the billing note): 3 blocks, so $0.003 Standard or $0.006 Priority.
- Per seller (a literal reading of the table): 30 units, so $0.03 Standard or $0.06 Priority.
We use the per-block reading below and flag it each time.
SearchApi: 5 offers, then pages of 10
Product Offers returns 5 offers on page 1 and up to 10 on each later page. For 30 sellers that is at least 4 calls (5 + 10 + 10 + 5). Since 2026-05-15, Product and Product Offers need a product_token from a Shopping call. The product_id parameter now returns a 400 error.
Whether each Product Offers call costs one search is not stated. If it does, 4 calls cost at least $0.016 on Developer and $0.004 on Octo 5M (derived).
SerpApi: 3–5 stores, then 13, then token pages
Google Immersive Product returns 3 to 5 stores by default. With more_stores=1 it returns up to 13. More sellers need further calls with next_page_token.
At least one search is needed: $0.025 on Starter, about $0.002 on Cloud 54M. How many calls a 30-seller product takes, and whether each follow-up call bills as a full search, is not stated on the pricing page.
Scrapingdog: one call with offers
/google_product with offers=1 costs 5 credits. That is $0.001 per product on Lite and about $0.00014 on Nova Pro (derived). Both are cheaper than our cost for a 30-seller product ($0.003 on Starter, $0.0009 on Ultimate). How many sellers one call returns is not stated.
Apify (scrapewise actor): per page of 10 stores
The community scrapewise/google-shopping actor (on Apify) charges $2.50 → $2.00 per 1,000 products. Store offers cost $0.02 per product plus $0.02 per extra page of 10 stores.
For 30 sellers that is roughly $0.04–$0.06 per product. The range depends on whether the first page of stores is included in the per-product fee. Apify platform plan fees come on top.
Providers we could not price per product
- Oxylabs:
google_shopping_productreturns sellers. Extra sellers from “More stores” need rendering, and only the first expansion is supported. - ScraperAPI: sellers come from a second request whose credit cost is not stated.
- ValueSERP: has an
online_sellersproduct type whose cost is not stated. - Bright Data: product data is a separate Scraper API dataset at $1.50 per 1,000 records PAYG. A Shopping-specific rate is not stated.
- Serper: we found no sellers endpoint.
Summary: about 30 sellers, one product
| Provider | Calls or units for ~30 sellers | Entry cost | Largest-tier cost | Assumptions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CrawlerData | 1 request, 3 credits | $0.003 | $0.0009 | 1 credit per 10 sellers: 30 ÷ 10 = 3 |
| Scrapingdog | 1 call, 5 credits | $0.001 | ~$0.00014 | Sellers per call not stated |
| DataForSEO | 3 blocks of 10 | $0.003 Standard / $0.006 Priority | Same | Per-block reading of the billing note |
| SearchApi | ≥4 calls | ≥$0.016 | ≥$0.004 | 1 search per call, not stated |
| SerpApi | ≥1 search | ≥$0.025 | ≥~$0.002 | Follow-up call count and billing not stated |
| Apify scrapewise | 1 product + store pages | ~$0.04–$0.06 | Similar | Plus platform fees |
Billing rules that change the real cost
| Provider | Failed requests charged? | Credit expiry | Minimum spend | Model |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CrawlerData | No | 6 months | $50 pack | Credit packs |
| Serper | No (successful only) | 6 months | $50 pack | Credit packs |
| DataForSEO | No (“only when you get a result”) | Never | $50 deposit | Pay as you go |
| SerpApi | No | Monthly refill, no rollover stated | $25/mo | Subscription |
| SearchApi | No (200 only) | Carries over on upgrade; renewal not stated | $40/mo | Subscription |
| Scrapingdog | No (refunded) | Rollover from Standard up | $40/mo | Subscription |
| Oxylabs | Yes for 4xx; not 5xx, 6xx, 429 | Expires at cycle end | $30/mo | Subscription |
| ScraperAPI | 200 and 404 billed | Resets at renewal | $49/mo | Subscription |
| Bright Data | No, except custom-header or cookie zones | Free credits monthly; deposits not stated | None (PAYG) | PAYG or $499 Scale |
| Zenserp | No | Not stated | $49.99/mo | Subscription |
| ValueSERP | No | Not stated | $25 PAYG purchase | Subscription or PAYG |
Two of these matter a lot for Shopping:
- 4xx and 404 billing. A product page that has gone away returns an error on most APIs. On Oxylabs and ScraperAPI, that error is billed. If your catalog has many dead product IDs, budget for it.
- Expiry. DataForSEO’s balance never expires, which is better than our 6 months. If your volume is irregular, that can outweigh a lower per-request price.
Worked example: monitoring 1,000 products daily
You track 1,000 products, once a day, and you want every seller each time.
Assumptions: you already have product IDs or tokens; each product has about 30 sellers; 30 days a month, so 30,000 product checks a month; list prices; no retries.
| Provider | Monthly calculation | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| CrawlerData | 30,000 checks × 3 credits = 90,000 credits × $0.75 per 1,000 (Standard packs; a 500k pack lasts about 5.5 months, within its 6-month validity) | $67.50 |
| Scrapingdog | 30,000 × 5 credits = 150,000 credits, which fits Lite (200k credits) | $40 |
| DataForSEO | 30,000 × 3 blocks × $0.001 (Standard) | $90 ($180 Priority) |
| SerpApi | ≥30,000 searches, which fits Big Data (30,000) | ≥$275 |
| SearchApi | ≥4 calls × 30,000 = ≥120,000 searches, so Scale (250k) | ≥$500 |
| Apify scrapewise | 30,000 × ~$0.0425–$0.0625 | ~$1,275–$1,875 + platform |
At list prices Scrapingdog is the cheapest here, then CrawlerData, then DataForSEO Standard. DataForSEO’s figure becomes $900 a month under the per-seller reading. SerpApi’s is a lower bound because the extra calls for sellers beyond 13 are not counted. SearchApi’s assumes 1 search per call.
Worked example: monitoring 10,000 products daily
The same setup at 10 times the volume gives 300,000 product checks a month.
CrawlerData. At 3 credits per check (30 sellers), 300,000 checks is 900,000 credits a month, or 5.4M over 6 months. There are two sensible ways to buy it:
- Scale packs (2.5M credits, $1,250) as needed: $0.50 per 1,000 × 900,000 = about $450 a month. Each pack lasts about 2.8 months, within its 6-month validity.
- One Ultimate pack (12.5M credits, $3,750) every 6 months. You use 5.4M credits and 7.1M expire. $3,750 ÷ 6 = $625 a month.
Scale packs are cheaper unless your volume grows into the Ultimate pack.
Scrapingdog. 300,000 × 5 credits = 1.5M credits. Standard (1M credits) is not enough, so Pro (3M credits, $200 a month) is the smallest of the tiers we list that covers it. That is $200 a month, well below our $450. Scrapingdog has 28 tiers, so a closer fit may exist.
DataForSEO. 300,000 × 3 blocks × $0.001 = $900 a month at Standard, under the per-block reading. Under the per-seller reading it would be $9,000.
SerpApi. At least 300,000 searches needs Infrastructure (500,000 searches, $2,750 a month). Volume, at 250,000, is too small. So at least $2,750.
SearchApi. At least 1.2M calls needs Octo 2M ($2,800 a month), if each call is 1 search.
At this volume Scrapingdog’s list price is less than half of ours. At its larger tiers the gap widens, to about $0.00014 per call against our $0.0009 for a 30-seller product. If sellers per call matters, test how many sellers its response contains for your products before you choose. Our advantage is that one request always returns every seller, with no pagination, and you pay only for the sellers actually returned.
Where CrawlerData is weaker
We sell one of these APIs, so here is where we fall short:
- It is a newer product, with a shorter track record than SerpApi, DataForSEO or Oxylabs.
- Far fewer endpoints. We have 8 Google endpoints. SerpApi and SearchApi each list about 40 engines, including product reviews, which we don’t offer.
- Country-level targeting only. We cover 31 countries, with no city-level or uule targeting. SerpApi, Bright Data and DataForSEO offer finer location targeting, and that matters because Shopping results can vary by location.
- A small trial. We give 50 free credits, valid for 30 days, and you need a verified work email. Serper gives 2,500 free queries, SerpApi 250 a month and Bright Data 5,000 a month.
- Slow Shopping product requests. Sellers and Product requests can take tens of seconds. If you need sub-second answers, we are not the right fit.
- Page 1 only for Shopping search.
- Not the cheapest per product. For a product with about 30 sellers, Scrapingdog’s product call is cheaper on every plan we priced, and DataForSEO’s Standard queue matches our Starter-pack price. And DataForSEO’s balance never expires, while our credits last 6 months.
Which pricing model fits your workload
- Steady daily monitoring of a known catalog. Compare per-product cost, not per-search. Use the tables above with your own seller counts.
- Many sellers per product. Flat per-call billing (Scrapingdog, if one call returns them all) avoids paying more for popular products. CrawlerData returns every seller in one call and bills 1 credit per 10 sellers, so popular products cost more, in steps of 10 sellers, but you never make extra pagination calls.
- Irregular or seasonal volume. DataForSEO’s non-expiring balance or a pay-as-you-go plan avoids losing unused credits.
- Batch jobs that can wait. DataForSEO’s Standard queue (about 45 minutes) is cheap. Our Fast and Regular queues cost the same as Live, so the queue doesn’t change your bill.
- Reviews, specs and broad Google coverage in one account. SerpApi or SearchApi cover far more of Google than we do.

Try it on your own products
Run a few of your product IDs through the Google Shopping Sellers API on 50 free credits and count the sellers you get back. Sellers requests cost 1 credit per 10 sellers returned (rounded up, minimum 1); Shopping search, product info and every other endpoint cost 1 credit per request, and failed requests are not charged. Full pack prices are on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions
- How much does a Google Shopping API cost?
- As of October 2026, list prices for 1,000 Google Shopping searches range from about $0.27 (Scrapingdog's largest plan, derived from 10 credits per search) to $25 (SerpApi Starter). Most providers land between $0.30 and $4.00 per 1,000 at their entry or mid tiers. CrawlerData is $1.00 per 1,000 on the Starter pack and $0.30 on the Ultimate pack.
- Am I charged per seller or per product?
- It depends on the provider. CrawlerData returns every seller in one request and charges 1 credit per 10 sellers returned, rounded up (30 sellers = 3 credits). DataForSEO's Sellers task is billed per block of 10 sellers according to its billing note. SearchApi and SerpApi return sellers in pages, so a product with many sellers takes several calls. Scrapingdog's /google_product call costs 5 credits with offers=1.
- How many sellers does one request return?
- Per the providers' docs as of October 2026: CrawlerData returns every seller in one request; SerpApi's Immersive Product returns 3 to 5 stores by default and up to 13 with more_stores=1; SearchApi's Product Offers returns 5 offers on page 1 and up to 10 per later page; DataForSEO's Sellers task returns the top 10 by default with depth up to 200.
- Are failed or empty Google Shopping requests charged?
- Most providers do not charge for failed requests, including CrawlerData, SerpApi, Serper, DataForSEO, SearchApi, Zenserp, ValueSERP and Scrapingdog. Oxylabs bills 2xx and 4xx responses, ScraperAPI bills 200 and 404 responses, and Bright Data bills every request in zones that use custom headers or cookies. A successful request with an empty result is usually charged.
- Do Google Shopping API credits expire?
- DataForSEO's balance has no expiry date. CrawlerData and Serper credits are valid for 6 months. SerpApi refills monthly with no rollover stated, ScraperAPI and Oxylabs reset at the end of each billing cycle, and Scrapingdog carries unused credits over to the next cycle from its Standard plan up.
- What is the cheapest way to monitor competitor prices on Google Shopping?
- At list prices, for 1,000 products checked daily, our arithmetic puts Scrapingdog at $40 a month and CrawlerData at about $67.50 a month. At 10,000 products daily, Scrapingdog's Pro plan ($200 a month) comes in well below CrawlerData (about $450 a month). Both depend on assumptions about seller counts that we spell out in the post.
